TESTIMONIAL

"As someone always called to ministry, I struggled with leadership due to a lack of trust in God and my gifts. As an intern, I gained confidence in my leadership abilities.

Working with the IGNITE leadership team and ministry, I witnessed spiritual leaders embody Godly characteristics while supporting those we served. This allowed me to embrace my humanity as a servant leader of God.

I participated in various events, including bible studies, prayer calls, and leadership trainings. I was consistently reminded to ask others how I could serve them. This simple question reminded me that I am not only a child of God but a servant, a daughter and friend. I learned that serving others is my greatest pleasure.

As a passionate leader who attended McKendree University, I was able to share the gospel with my peers, from all backgrounds and demographics. I still see the fruits of my yes, as many people have given their lives to Christ and shared their testimony with me and how I was a light. During my internship, I encouraged young adults to attend IGNITE gatherings regularly.

Some of my favorite moments include hands-on experiences, especially when I felt inadequate. Pastor Geoff encouraged me to lead and speak publicly, and his words have stayed with me."
