Reflection Questions
- In your own life, do you operate more out of convenience or covenant in your relationships? Give an example.
- What “famine moments” (personal crises, financial droughts, spiritual droughts) have revealed the strength or weakness of your community?
- How can New Life embody Antioch’s countercultural witness in O’Fallon and beyond?
- Where do you see God calling you to cross boundaries (ethnic, generational, economic) to demonstrate covenant love?
- How does understanding the original meaning of ecclesia (public assembly) change the way you view church today?
Application Challenge
- This week, identify one way you can move from selfish to sacrificial in your covenant community.
- Journal or share with your LifeGroup: Who are “yo’ people” that have your back, and how can you strengthen those connections?
- Pray for discernment to see where you can live out covenant connection in a way that is visible to the wider community — a true witness like Antioch.
