Point 1: Make the Ask personal!

John 1:43-46 - 43 The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Just Ask

Point 2: Make the Ask Persuasive!

Luke 14:22-23 … compel them to come…

Compel comes from the Greek word anankazo which implies don’t give up so easily. Not coercion. Nobody is talking about guilt tripping people.

Eccl 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Point 3: Dont stop asking as long as there’s room

Luke 14:22 Sir… what you asked has been done, but there is still room.

Jesus said on another occasion we dont know when the end is, but he gave us things to watch for Matt 24:4-8, 14, 36 NIV 4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will befamines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. 36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Point 4: Make them an offer they cannot refuse.

John 3:16 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Rom 5:8 NIV But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Life Application: 

1. Pray about who you will invite to the Block Party in addition to praying on your #’ered day
2. Take tickets/door knockers/ with you and place them…
3. Invite the person who you know needs “pull-up” at Jesus table
4. Pray for and invite the person on your personal connection card!
