Pericope: Luke 22:31-34ESV - 31 “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan

demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat, 32 but I

have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you

have turned again, strengthen your brothers.” 33 Peter said to him,

“Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to

death.” 34 Jesus said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow this

day, until you deny three times that you know me.”

Sermon Title: Fight with Your Faith

Point 1: Your faith must be shaken - Vs 31 “Simon, Simon,

behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like

wheat

Your level of faith determines your level of response!

Matthew 16: 18 And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock[a] I

will build my church, and the gates of hell[b] shall not prevail

against it.

Romans 12: 3 For by the grace given to me I say to everyone

among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to

think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the

measure of faith that God has assigned.

Point 2: Your faith is your Wi-Fi connection to God! Verse 32

Hebrews 11: 6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for

whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and

that he rewards those who seek him.

Point 3: Fight with your faith is a fight with your faith - verse 33

and 34 - 33 Peter said to him, “Lord, I am ready to go with you

both to prison and to death.” 34 Jesus said, “I tell you, Peter, the

rooster will not crow this day, until you deny three times that you

know me.”

Life Application

1. Check your faith meter every morning.

2. Respond to every challenge with faith

3. Speak faith talk faith and walk faith.
