Pericope: 1 Corinthians 13:8-13 8 Love never fails. But where

there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are

tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass

away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when

completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a

child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a

child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind

me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we

shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully,

even as I am fully known. 13 And now these three remain: faith,

hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Philippians 3:8-11 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss

because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my

Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them

garbage, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a

righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which

is through faith in [a] Christ—the righteousness that comes from

God on the basis of faith. 10 I want to know Christ—yes, to know

the power of his resurrection and participation in his

sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 and so, somehow,

attaining to the resurrection from the dead.

Isaiah 55:8-9 8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are

your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. 9 “As the heavens are

higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways

and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Jeremiah 29:11 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares

the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give

you hope and a future. God told Jeremiah that when Jeremiah

only knew in part.

Life Application:

1. Share the parts of life that you know in a life group, it will

help you get through.

2. Share your life with others by serving with others and you

will find meaning in the parts of life you cannot figure out

3. Give your life to the one who knows every part of your life

and loves you
