salvation to everyone who believes…”

wickedness of people…”
3. Reprobate Mind: Romans 1:24–25 NIV
“Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts…”
4. Me, You, We: Romans 3:9–12 NIV
“There is no one righteous, not even one…”
5. Justified: Romans 3:23–24 NIV
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his
grace…”
Application: How Do We Live This Week?
Personal Application
Ask yourself: Where have I been saying, “That’s just me,” when I should be saying,
“God, heal what shaped me”?
Relational Application
Stop judging people by the chapter you walked in on. Everybody has a Romans 1 story.
Everybody needs a Romans 3 grace. What’s yours?
Spiritual Application
This week, identify one lie you have exchanged for truth.
Examples:
• “I’ll never change.”
• “This is just who I am.”
• “I have to hide to be accepted.”
• “God is tired of me.”
• “Nobody understands.”
Then replace it with gospel truth:
“The gospel is still the power of God for my salvation and transformation.”
6. Life Group Discussion Questions
1. Why do we often treat sin as private when Scripture shows it affects community?
2. What does it mean that humanity “exchanged the truth about God for a lie”?
3. Where do people today give created things the honor that belongs to God?
4. Why is Romans 3:23 incomplete without Romans 3:24?
5. How can our Life Group become a safe place for truth without becoming a place
of shame?
