Pericope: Genesis 1:26-28 - 26 Then God said, “Let us make

mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over

the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and

all the wild animals, [a] and over all the creatures that move along

the ground.”

27 So God created mankind in his own image,

Point 1: Receive The Brand vs. 27 So God created mankind in

his own image,

  in the image of God he created them;

  male and female he created them.

Point 2: Reclaim the Assignment  – vs. 28a 28 God blessed them

and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the

earth and subdue it.

Point 3: Reframed Dominion as Stewardship vs. 28b fill the earth

and subdue it, and have dominion over…and every living thing.

Point 4: Resist Counterfeits and Counter-Brands. Gen. 3:1 NIV -

Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals

the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really

say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

    a. Racism brands you as inferior

               b. Consumerism brands you as what you own

    c. Sexuality brands you as your body parts

    d. Political tribalism brands you as red or blue; MAGA or

                   liberal.

Life Application:

1.  Confess daily Imago Dei (Brand Identity)

2.  Care for your brand daily

3.  Confront counterfeits

4.  Accept The One Brand Solution (Jesus Christ)
