Reckless Love

Pericope: Eph 2:4-5 “But because of his great love for us, God,
who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we
were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been
saved.”
Sermon Text: Eph 2:5 it is by grace you have been saved.”;
Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Sermon Title: Reckless Love
Point 1: God has wrap-around love. Romans
a) I am courageous
b) I am a conqueror
c) I am comforted
Point 2: Gods love is a level up – Eph. 3:17-21 - “so that Christ
may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being
rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all
the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and
deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses
knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the
fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more
than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work
within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus
throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen
Point 3: We are in an abusive “me too” relationship with God.
