Now unto Him who is ABLE

Sermon Title: Now unto Him who is ABLE
Sermon Text: Jude 1:17, 20-25 KJV
But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles
of our Lord Jesus Christ;
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the
Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord
Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a
difference: and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the
garment spotted by the flesh. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling,
and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power,
both now and ever. Amen.”
He covers what you’re not equipped to carry
Remember
“But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles
of our Lord Jesus Christ;” Jude 1:17 KJV
Principle Learning from the past is an invitation to improve the present
“Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving
themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an
example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” Jude 1:7 KJV
Quote “Until you change your thinking, you will always recycle your
experiences.”
Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a
roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be
strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is
going through the same kind of suffering you are.” 1 Peter 5:8-9
Rescue
And of some have compassion, making a difference: and others save with fear,
pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.” Jude
1:22-23 KJV
You’re kept from falling
“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless
before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our
Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”
Jude 1:24-25 KJV
Principle: When you’re the voice of God in your life, you become the vehicle for
your demise.
“Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can
understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ
Jesus.” Philippians 4:7 NLT
