Pericope: John 10:7-10 ESV - 7 So Jesus again said to them,

came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not

listen to them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be

saved and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes

Sermon Title: More<Less… 7 Steps to MORE in 24

The first order of business as we launch off into this year of More

in 24 is get you out of debt. So lets start with that.

Step 1: More is held captive by debt.

Prov. 22: 7 The rich rule over the poor,

and the borrower is slave to the lender.

Definition of debt…time subtracted from your life. Time is money

and you only have a certain amount of tie to accumulate money.

Ps 90:10a - 10 Our days may come to seventy years,

or eighty, if our strength endures;

Now subtract a 30 year mortgage. Subtract 5-7 year car note.

Subtract credit and debt 10 year.

Debt Death Formula

80 years

-30 year mortgage

-7 year car

-10 consumer debt

33 years to live accumulated wealth

Wealth accumulation

Own your own business

+Stock/Investment

+Pro Real estate

= Wealth

Step 2: More is held captive by fear. Matthew 25:28-30 ESV - 28

So take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten

talents. 29 For to everyone who has will more be given, and he

will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what

he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the worthless servant into

the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and

gnashing of teeth.’

Fear will cause you not to invest rather feed your future with…

John 2;16 NIV - 16 To those who sold doves he said, “Get these

out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!”

FOMO will cause you to use your money into stuff that does not

increase in value.

Step 3: More is held captive by stinking thinking – Prov.

29:18ESV - 18 Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast

off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law.

What are you prophesizing over your life

18 When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild.

But whoever obeys the law is joyful.

But when they attend to what he reveals,

Step 4: More n 24 obedience release more

Step 6: More in 24 is generosity to others

Prov. 19:17 17 Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord,

and he will reward them for what they have done.

Step 7: More in 24 is consistent Josh 1: 8 Keep this Book of the

Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you

may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be

prosperous and successful.
